As I mentioned a hop, skip, and a few posts ago, I have a new blog-land love affair. Tonight, while cruising the site's most recent post during a study break, I found my future home. Living in it would necessitate a minor move to Cape Town, South Africa, but that's not a big deal, right? In an ideal world, I'd move into the pink side, and use the green half as a guest house!
Tonight, in the midst of plugging through a thirty-page group paper (which, pardon the rant, I have to argue is the most inane academic assignment possible), I ran into one of my oldest college friends. Way back when, we met in the basement of our freshman-year residence hall, where the hallways were polluted with an unbearable form of dorm perfume. Talking to people who I've known through every nook and cranny of my college experience is really hitting home lately, making it extra hard to believe that next week is my last week of classes. Ever.
But that's not to say that the sadness is sitting solo. Every day, I remind myself that it's a bittersweet ending -- one that will bring new friends, new opportunities, and new experiences. And I'm excited for them all! =)
