Prima Ballerina

This weekend, I acquired a new life skill. It certainly won't bring me any fiscal success, but it sure turned this Sunday into a Funday. The skill, you ask? I am far too capable of impersonating the "go to" dance moves of each of my house mates. After four years of semi-annual mixers and the occasional outbreak of hallway-style move-busting, I've had ample opportunities to observe and impersonate. My favorite moves are as follows: KA looks at the ground, shaking her head in a way the GLEE gang would call a perfect attempt at hairography; JT line dances; DG points at the ceiling while alternating the shrug in her shoulders; and EO'K... well, she jumps. In heels.

This got me thinking about the go-to moves my friends from home flock to, as well. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure I could impersonate them all, too: AC puts her hands up and cyclones them around; SA embraces her South of the Border heritage and shake shake shakes it; and ML, of course, gets low like there is no tomorrow.

My go-to move? Enlighten me, ladies. Clearly, I can't wait to cut some rugs again this weekend!
